The 6th Yılkomer Lightning Protection Seminar Was Held with Great Participation

The 6th Yılkomer Lightning Protection Seminar was held with great participation. More than 400 engineers and 8 instructors from 6 countries discussed current technologies in lightning protection, low-voltage surge protective devices, grounding, and equipotential systems. The event, organized under the coordination of Yılkomer, was supported by Raycap, Gromtor, and Sertec SRL.

At the seminar supported by Yılkomer and its global partners, a total of 3 hours of detailed information was presented on Raycap Strikesorb and low-voltage surge protective device systems. Sertec SRL delivered highly detailed presentations on CMCE Lightning Prevention Systems, and Gromtor presented in depth on Isolated Lightning Protection Systems.

Serdar Aksoy, CEO of the Lightning Protection Center and Raycap Türkiye, explained to participants all technical analyses such as lightning risk in our country, low-voltage SPD selection criteria, the rolling sphere method, and the protection angle method within the scope of IEC 62305 Standards. During the Q&A session, many important topics were discussed, and valuable professors from many universities in our country provided technical support to our seminar.

The event, where the installation of correct systems for lightning protection, elimination of risks, the importance of superior protection products, and installation in accordance with correct standards were discussed, stands out as the most comprehensive event on Lightning Protection and Low-Voltage SPDs held in our country.
