RSE 2 Series
Raycap RSE 2 Series are Type 1 and Type 2 (filtered) Surge Protective Devices (SPD) suitable for use at the service entrance and distribution panel level. With its date and time-stamped impulse counter, it enables root cause analysis of grid issues.
RSE 2 Series products are Type 1 and Type 2 (filtered) surge protective devices that can be used at the service entrance and/or distribution panel level. The series offers two different protection mode options: a standard all-mode / 7-mode configuration and a 10-mode option including an indirectly connected component.
The most distinctive feature of the series is its date and time-stamped TOV / impulse counter. The device records surge events it is exposed to, along with time information. This allows for root cause analysis when a problem occurs in the distribution network, by identifying when the event happened. This ensures the question "why did the device fail" is answered with data, not speculation.
The product utilizes a stacked MOV design, which ensures balanced current sharing among protection elements, increasing total current handling capacity. It is supplied with an extruded aluminum enclosure, end caps, and nipple connection; the device is pre-wired. LED status indicator, audible alarm, and remote monitoring contacts (RC) are standard.
