ProTec T1HS

The Raycap ProTec T1HS is a DIN rail-mounted IEC Class I+II / EN Type 1+2 hybrid Surge Protection Device (SPD) offered in a pluggable housing. With its leakage current-free hybrid technology and 25 kA impulse discharge current, it is ideal for protecting sensitive equipment.

ProTec T1HS are DIN rail-mounted IEC Class I+II / EN Type 1+2 hybrid surge protection devices, offered in a pluggable form factor. They are UL 1449 5th Edition Type 4CA certified.

The product's key feature is its leakage current-free hybrid topology. This design allows the device to be used without issues in systems with residual current devices (RCDs), making it ideal for protecting sensitive equipment. Thanks to its unique design, it achieves an impulse discharge current capacity of 25 kA — a high value for a pluggable device.

ProTec T1HS provides energy coordination with other ProTec families without requiring additional cable length. In a cascaded protection setup, using T1HS as the first stage and adding devices from the same family to subsequent stages is possible without the minimum cable length requirement typically needed in standard configurations.

Equipped with state-of-the-art thermal disconnector, the device features a green/red operational status indicator on the front of each module, also available on N-PE modules. Optional remote contact (RC) signaling allows for remote status monitoring. Its vibration and shock resistance ensure reliable operation in harsh field conditions.
