Raycap Protec T2C – Electric Vehicle Charging Station Low-Voltage SPD System
5 June 2022The negative effects of electromagnetic fields on human health are quite significant. Especially in buildings located under high- and medium-voltage power lines, electromagnetic field levels are very high. Over time, it becomes almost inevitable for people living in such buildings to develop cancer and similar serious illnesses. Our Sertec CMCE technology-based lightning prevention systems also feature electromagnetic field balancing and reduction capabilities, helping to prevent such potential negative effects in these types of structures. Electromagnetic fields also have adverse effects on human mental health and psychology, and precautions must be taken to eliminate these impacts.

Let’s Get to Know Sertec CMCE Technology..
The main material of the CMCE technology-based prevention system is Graphene.
Graphene is a two-dimensional nanometric material consisting of a single layer of carbon atoms. It exhibits SP2 hybridization. Its atomic hexagonal structure resembles a honeycomb. Graphene is one of the allotropic forms of carbon, like graphite and diamond. Thus, one millimeter of graphite contains three million graphene layers.
It is the strongest material known in nature, stronger than structural steel of the same thickness and harder than diamond, while its thickness ranges between 1 and 10 carbon atoms. Due to its extreme thinness, it can only be seen as two-dimensional and is considered a two-dimensional material—the only material capable of this.

CMCE technology creates a specific angular protection shield. It ensures that the electromagnetic field within the incidence area is reduced to tolerable levels. Thanks to its capacitors, it provides electromagnetic balancing.

It can discharge surges in 10/350 µs (35 MHz) waveforms, which are considered very high-frequency impulses.

This design is engineered to protect the structure from airborne electromagnetic impulses. Full protection is provided against induced currents from both lateral sides and the top. For CMCE technology to function properly, grounding and all metallic parts of the structure must be equipotential. In an equipotential system, CMCE technology reduces electromagnetic field effects by 90% to 95%. For CMCE technology to operate effectively, the common grounding resistance value of the regulated equipotential system must be less than 5 ohms.

The lateral CMCE must be inclined by 5° relative to the vertical. The reason is that lateral electromagnetic impulses are better absorbed with a slight tilt of the CMCE due to its geometry. Radiated electromagnetic fields arrive laterally, and this angle allows the CMCE to absorb impulses more effectively. In vertically installed systems where overhead lines pass above the structure, CMCE can be installed vertically and, depending on the model, provides protection within a radius of 25, 55, or 120 meters.
By using the CMCE Lightning Prevention System against electromagnetic field waves in your facility, it is possible to prevent potential health and electrical problems.
