Protection and Grounding of Machinery Against Overvoltage
15 December 2015Harmonic Measurement and Report
17 December 2015Thermoweld Cadweld is a reliable and modern application used when connecting grounding conductors during grounding. Thanks to Thermoweld, corrosion, rust, or conductivity loss that occurs in connecting devices like bolts and clamps is avoided. The resistance value usually increases at these connection points due to the connecting devices. Thermoweld application prevents this problem as well. It is recommended to use Thermoweld applications when adding connections in facilities such as factories.
Thermoweld Materials
Cadweld Powder: The Cadweld powder is selected according to the type of welding to be performed. The starter powder, which ensures the proper connection, is also part of the Thermoweld materials. Selecting the correct grades for both powders is important.
Thermoweld Crucible: The necessary reaction for welding metals together occurs in this crucible. The crucible’s durability and long service life are important. The crucible includes a chamber, a discharge hole, and a welding cavity.
Pliers: Selected according to the type of crucible and to compress the conductors to be joined. Crucible pliers are used to clamp different types of molds but are also specially manufactured for specific applications.
Other Materials: Lighter to initiate the reaction and cleaning materials to clean the mold.
