INGESCO Multi-Point Air Terminal
Multi-point Franklin air terminal operating on the point effect principle. Copper or AISI 316 stainless steel, 384 mm length, Ø20 mm, M20 connection. Used as a single air terminal or as a complement to a Faraday cage.
The multi-point air terminal is a passive air terminal that operates on the principle of the point effect.
The point effect is the phenomenon where electrical charges accumulate at the sharpest points around a conductor. As a storm develops, an electric field forms in the atmosphere between the cloud and the ground. Near the Franklin air terminal, natural ionization occurs due to energy transfer.
The product's multi-point structure offers more sharp points compared to a single-point Franklin rod.
It can be used as a standalone air terminal or as a complement to conductor mesh and Faraday cage systems. Conductors are connected to form a conductor mesh or Faraday cage.
Available in two materials: copper and AISI 316 stainless steel. Different sizes and materials can be produced upon request.
Installation is done by direct connection to a mast with an adapter head.
