ACData All-Mode Series
Raycap ACData All-Mode Series are AC surge suppression products with impulse capacity up to 100 kA and wide operating temperature range. With EMI/RFI filtering and a sine wave tracking circuit, they provide protection not only against surges but also against grid noise.
ACData All-Mode Series AC surge suppression products are offered with maximum impulse capacity up to 100 kA and wide operating temperature range. Various operating voltage options are available.
The name "All-Mode" in the series refers to protection provided in all connection modes — phase-neutral, phase-ground, and neutral-ground. Unlike devices that provide unidirectional protection, it offers protection regardless of the mode through which the surge arrives.
A distinctive feature of the product is its sine wave tracking circuit with EMI/RFI filtering. This circuit reduces grid noise by filtering high-frequency electromagnetic and radio frequency interferences. In facilities with sensitive electronics, this provides an additional improvement that conventional surge arresters cannot.
Individually thermally fused varistors (MOV) are used as suppression elements; each varistor has its own thermal protection. LED visual status indicators per phase and Form C relay contacts for remote alarm notification are standard. Products are listed under UL 1449 5th Edition and UL 1283.
