11 February 2017To protect devices against lightning and sudden overvoltages, LV surge arrester systems must be present in our facility in a cascaded manner. Today, with the increasing number of electronic devices and them becoming more sensitive, there is a need for LV surge arresters with even lower Up levels. Socket-type protection surge arresters are products with very low Up levels that we recommend using in facilities where sensitive systems are located.
We especially recommend that you primarily protect the following electronic devices in your factory.
- Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
- Data Centers
- PLC and automation lines
- Computers
- Cameras
- Telephone and Communication Lines
- Modems
- LED lighting systems
To protect these systems, we recommend using Type 3 surge arresters that provide protection against impulses coming from the socket ground and the grid.
