Grounding Rod is one of the most important components of an electrical installation. Proper grounding is essential for preventing both loss of life and property. The grounding rod is also one of the most commonly used materials when performing grounding.
The grounding electrode is referred to as a deep grounding element among grounding equipment. After a 60 cm excavation, the electrodes—whose driving points are determined according to calculations—are generally embedded into the ground at intervals of twice their length. The material of the grounding electrode is not directly related to the grounding resistance. For example, in a project where we use copper electrodes, we can achieve the same ground transition resistance with galvanized electrodes as well. Grounding electrode types are generally as follows;

The 1500 mm angle grounding electrode Q20 can be manufactured from different materials. The important point here is that the conductor connecting the grounding electrode must be made of the same material as the grounding rod. In addition, the use of corrosion tape at connection points is important.
