RayDin
Raycap RayDin is a family of Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) that offers Strikesorb® technology in an industrial, DIN rail-mounted housing. With its pressure-mounted, single-piece, heavy-duty varistor disk and hermetically sealed aluminum housing, it ensures easy integration into standard panels.
RayDin products are industrial-grade, DIN rail-mounted surge protective devices designed with Strikesorb® technology. Each unit features a single-piece, heavy-duty, distribution-grade, pressure-mounted metal oxide varistor (MOV) disk, hermetically sealed within an aluminum housing for environmental protection.
Strikesorb is a versatile SPD technology classified under IEC 61643-11. It protects critical applications from damage caused by lightning and other surge events. Even in environments with the highest lightning risk, RayDin can absorb high-energy impulses without module degradation.
Strikesorb technology ensures uninterrupted protection for critical equipment. It offers a safe solution in any environment, as it uses no flammable, smoke-producing, or explosive materials; it minimizes aging effects and completely eliminates the risk of sudden failure, explosion, or fire seen in conventional devices. Tested and certified according to international IEC and UL safety and performance standards. Based on years of field performance data, the expected service life exceeds 20 years, and all modules come with a 10-year limited lifetime warranty.
