ProTec T1H

Raycap ProTec T1H is a Surge Protective Device (SPD) certified to IEC Class I+II / EN Type 1+2 and UL Type 4CA. Thanks to its leakage current-free hybrid topology, it is suitable for installations requiring both high lightning current withstand capability and residual current sensitivity.

Raycap ProTec T1H are surge protective devices (SPDs) certified to IEC Class I+II / EN Type 1+2 and UL Type 4CA, offered in a wide range of operating voltages.

The product's key feature is its hybrid topology, which generates no leakage current. The hybrid structure combines gas discharge tube and varistor technologies, leveraging the advantages of both: the fast response and low residual voltage of the varistor, and the leakage current-free nature of the gas discharge tube. This allows the device to operate without issues in systems equipped with residual current devices.

ProTec T1H provides energy coordination with other ProTec families without requiring additional cable distance. This simplifies using the T1H as the first stage in a cascaded protection setup, allowing the addition of Type 2 or Type 3 devices from the same family to lower stages, eliminating the minimum cable distance requirement in standard configurations.

The device is equipped with a state-of-the-art thermal disconnector. Each module features a green/red operating status indicator on its front face—this indicator is also present on N-PE modules. Optional remote contact signaling allows for remote monitoring of the device status. With its vibration and shock resistance, it operates reliably in harsh field conditions.
