ACData ACX Series
The Raycap ACData ACX Series comprises hardwired varistor and hybrid-designed Surge Protective Devices (SPDs). It offers impulse current capacities ranging from 40 kA to 200 kA in an 8/20 µs waveform, with LED status indicators, remote alarm notification, and EMI/RFI filtering options.
The ACData ACX Series consists of varistor (MOV) and hybrid-designed surge protection devices suitable for hardwired installation. The series covers a wide impulse current capacity range, from 40 kA to 200 kA in an 8/20 µs waveform.
A distinguishing feature of the series is its non-reliance on a single technology. Depending on the model, it utilizes advanced coordinated hybrid, common mode, thermally fused varistor (MOV), and/or silicon avalanche diode (SAD) suppression technologies. This versatility allows addressing diverse application requirements within a single series.
Design features vary by model, including LED visual protection status indication, remote alarm notification, and electromagnetic/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) filtering. EMI/RFI filtering provides not only surge protection but also improved immunity to grid noise in applications housing sensitive electronics.
Products are listed as Type 1 or Type 2 SPDs under UL 1449 5th Edition. Type 4 outdoor enclosure and wide operating temperature range enable outdoor installations.
