PCB Socket T1 and T2

Raycap PCB Socket T1 and T2 are socket solutions for mounting surge protection modules onto printed circuit boards (PCB). Designed for AC power systems, they can be used with modules having a continuous operating voltage (Uc) up to 880 V AC.

Raycap PCB Socket T1 and T2 are socket solutions enabling direct mounting of surge protection modules onto printed circuit boards (PCB). Designed for AC power systems, they are compatible with modules up to 880 V AC maximum continuous operating voltage (Uc).

This solution is developed for equipment manufacturers (OEMs) who wish to integrate surge protection directly into their device electronics. The protection module mounts directly onto the board, eliminating the need for a separate DIN rail SPD and cabling. This saves space within the product and reduces assembly steps.

Mechanical durability is a key feature: the double solder pin set ensures both ease of soldering and higher mechanical stability; additionally, there are two extra mechanical fastening holes. The module locking mechanism prevents the module from dislodging under vibration and impact. The socket includes a voltage indicator slot and a green/not green fault indicator, along with precise and reliable remote signaling contacts.
