ACData Surge Blox Series
The Raycap ACData Surge Blox 200 Series is a modular and field-upgradable surge protection system. Each component has independent alarms; a faulty module can be replaced without interrupting system protection. It offers an impulse current capacity exceeding 200 kA per phase.
The modular design of the ACData Surge Blox 200 Series allows the system to be field-upgradable. Offered with various supply voltages, enclosure types, and size options, the product consists of easily replaceable components, each with independent alarms.
The practical value of this structure is partial fault notification. When a component is damaged, the system reports it individually, allowing timely repair before protection is completely disabled. The damaged component can be replaced without the entire arrester failing. In classic devices, the entire unit is replaced when the surge protector is depleted, whereas here, only the relevant module is replaced.
The modular design also allows for future capacity expansion through its stacking design. When facility needs grow, capacity can be increased by adding new modules.
The product offers an impulse current capacity exceeding 200 kA per phase. Thermally fused varistor (MOV) and/or silicon avalanche diode (SAD) are used as suppression elements; common mode suppression is also available in -G and -GNA models. Protection status can be monitored via an audible alarm, three separate LED visual indicators, and a remote alarm. The Type 4X fiberglass outdoor enclosure is suitable for corrosive and harsh outdoor conditions.
