Multi-point air terminal integrated with a pole adapter. Central and side points made of copper or AISI 316 stainless steel, adapter body made of brass (Cu/Zn). Available for 1¼" and 1½" pole sizes, with cable and flat bar connection versions. Eight product options.
The multi-point air terminal with pole adapter is a passive air terminal that combines the air terminal and pole adapter in a single piece.
The central and side points are directly integrated onto the adapter head. This eliminates the need to purchase a separate air terminal and a separate adapter; installation is completed as a single unit.
The product operates on the principle of the point effect. During a storm, an electro-atmospheric field forms between the cloud and the ground. Around the Franklin air terminal, natural ionization (corona effect) occurs due to energy transfer. This phenomenon is the excitation principle that enables the formation of a conductive path, facilitating lightning discharge.
It can be used as a standalone air terminal system or applied as a component of conductive mesh and Faraday cage systems.
The points are made of copper or AISI 316 stainless steel; the adapter head is made of brass (Cu/Zn) with stainless steel fasteners.
There are two connection versions: cable (round conductor) and flat bar (strip conductor).
