INGESCO Aluminum Air Terminals — Ø16 mm
Aluminum Franklin-type air terminals. Ø16 mm, six length options between 300 mm and 3000 mm. The lightest air terminal in the series — one-third the weight of copper for the 2000 mm model. According to IEC 62305-3 and IEC 62561-1 standards.
Aluminum air terminals are Franklin-type capture elements used in the external lightning protection of structures.
They can be used as standalone air terminals or applied as a complement to the conductive mesh (Faraday cage) system. Conductors are connected to each other to form a conductive mesh or Faraday cage.
The most significant advantage of aluminum is its weight. Compared to a copper air terminal of the same size, it weighs approximately one-third. This is a decisive factor for long lengths and lightweight roof constructions.
Thanks to this lightness, the aluminum series also offers a 3000 mm length option — the longest length in copper and stainless steel series is 2000 mm.
It is produced in Ø16 mm diameter, in six lengths: 300 · 500 · 1000 · 1500 · 2000 · 3000 mm. Different sizes and materials are available upon request.
Installation is done by direct connection to the mast with an adapter head.
