1500V DC Surge Arrester; Low-voltage surge arresters are the most strategic system components for protecting investments in AC and DC systems.
Especially with the evolution of photovoltaic systems from the 1000V level to the 1500V level, there has been an increase in the need for 1500V high-protection DC surge arresters. The continuous operating voltage levels of surge arresters are important to prevent damage to the product. In a system that can reach up to 1200V, we cannot use a 1000V DC surge arrester; we must select products suitable for the continuous operating voltage level. Otherwise, surge arresters exposed to continuous voltage above their capacity for 4–5 seconds will be damaged.
