In the Tuzgölü Underground Natural Gas Storage Facility project, which will become the world’s largest gas storage structure within salt formations once completed, Yılkomer has been selected for the Lightning Protection and Grounding Systems. The main purpose of the project is to dissolve salt reserves in 40 caverns around Lake Tuz using fresh water and to store 5.2 billion m³ of natural gas. Since 2020, we have been providing support to the project with our expertise in these specialized areas.
