18 May 2019The Uc operating voltage value is very important in the selection of Low Voltage Surge Arrester systems. After the product class, the second most important value to consider in product selection is the operating voltage Uc value. The Uc value is generally used up to a maximum of 440 V for AC systems. However, in many critical facilities, especially energy facilities, the AC continuous operating voltage can reach up to 1000 V. While it is easy to find 1000 V products for DC systems, it has been quite difficult to find products in the sector that provide 1000 V AC protection. With its newly developed Probloc Series, Raycap introduced the PROBLOC 1000V series to the market, which provides Type 1+2 protection and can operate up to 1000 V AC. As Yılkomer, we wanted to introduce our 1000 V AC Surge Arrester series that we use in important projects.
