As a result of the natural disaster experienced in Istanbul in recent days, the amount of precipitation recorded from meteorological stations in different regions as a result of the heavy rainfall that was effective for 45-55 minutes between 7.30-9.30 in the morning in Istanbul was shared. On the other hand, it was stated that 73 lightning flashes and strikes occurred per minute during the heavy rainfall, and a total of 2,563 lightning flashes and strikes were observed throughout the rainfall. 15 fires that occurred due to lightning strikes were intervened before they grew.
