21 May 2023The İNOTEL GMR100 MAINS MONITORING RELAY is a multifunctional mains monitoring relay that isolates and protects the system without reflecting problems in the public grid to the power generation plant. The GMR 100 mains monitoring relay continuously monitors the public grid and, in the event of any voltage or frequency disturbance, separates the power plant from the electrical grid within milliseconds, and enables the power generation facility to reconnect when the system returns to nominal operating voltages. While the low-voltage surge protective devices in the system provide protection against lightning and sudden overvoltage impulses that may occur at the nanosecond level, the mains monitoring relay intervenes instantly against grid problems and ensures that the system is not affected.
GMR 100 Mains Monitoring Relays are multifunctional grid monitoring relays installed between the renewable energy system and the public grid. They instantly detect abnormal events in the public electricity grid and automatically disconnect and reconnect the power generation plant. When the voltage or frequency of the public grid goes beyond the permitted limits, the GMR 100 separates the main grid and the renewable energy grid via the circuit breaker. This separation prevents damage to power plants and ensures system continuity! For sustainable generation, the use of a MAINS MONITORING RELAY in POWER GENERATION PLANTS is mandatory.
END TO MAINS LOSS!
What is mains loss?
The term mains loss, also referred to as loss of mains, describes the condition in which a power generation facility must absolutely not feed energy into the distribution system when the grid deviates from its normal operation due to faults such as a sudden short circuit on the generation facility or distribution company side. The system is designed and operated in this way. Having a RELAY that coordinates the delays occurring in this process minimizes the losses caused by mains loss.
Our product safely monitors all critical grid parameters. It helps you stay connected to the grid longer, enabling higher returns, and increases compatibility with the local grid. Equipped with an LCD display, our product allows easy configuration and can be used in both single-phase and three-phase grids.
The main application areas of the İNOTEL GMR 100 MAINS MONITORING RELAY include Industrial Facilities, Solar Power Plants, Hydroelectric Power Plants, and Wind Power Plants. Especially in power generation facilities, very fast disconnection in case of grid problems is extremely important for sustainable system operation. GMR stands for Grid Monitoring Relay and is a highly important product for grid control.
Our MAINS Monitoring Relay complies with TS EN 61000-6-2:2019, TS EN 61000-6-4:2020, TS EN 50178:2003, TS EN 60255:2014 standards and features real-time recording and monitoring of alarm conditions.
If we look at other technical features of the product;
GMR100 Supply 18-36V DC 0.2A
Microprocessor-based digital control circuit
Data transmission via Modbus RTU protocol
24V DC Output, RS485 port, Feedback input, 40-60Hz frequency measurement range, providing all parameters required to take control of your system.
As the Lightning Protection Center, we aim to provide maximum protection in renewable energy facilities by including mains monitoring relays in our product range together with our RAYCAP 800V TYPE 1+2 AC SURGE PROTECTIVE DEVICES, which we especially use in solar power plants.
