The 9 MW Solar Power Plant Project located in Kayseri OSB was designed and implemented by the Lightning Protection Center within the scope of Lightning Protection and Grounding Systems.
Designed in accordance with IEC 62305 standards, the system ensures effective long-term protection by establishing protection angles using lightning air terminals to prevent lightning strikes and transient surges.
Emphasizing the critical importance of equipotential bonding, all air terminals were connected to the equipotential system using damping surge protectors, and the achieved grounding resistance values were kept well below the target thresholds.
