Airports are highly vulnerable to lightning and surge impulses. Telecom lines, communication systems, aircraft warning systems, guidance and alarm systems, UPS units, conveyors, access control, and fire-alarm systems — all of these sensitive systems can be easily affected by sudden surge impulses. At Samsun Airport, telecom, camera, communication, and card-access systems were frequently damaged. Following the inspection by our expert engineers, a staged protection system was implemented, securing all sensitive systems, subpanels, and main panels with LV surge protection systems.
