Elbistan 44 MW Solar Power Plant Lightning Protection and Grounding Works Completed.
The 44 MW solar power plant constructed in Elbistan, notable for being the largest single-installation capacity, has had its lightning protection and grounding works completed by YILKOMER according to IEC 62305 standards. In this project, which brought the total capacity of the sites protected within the last year to 800 MW, the following works were carried out:
Basic grounding, protection grounding, functional grounding, lightning protection system design with passive angled lightning rods, measurement, equipotential analysis, and reporting were performed by YILKOMER.
