Supporting the Engineers of Tomorrow
At Yılkomer, we provide scholarship support to high-achieving students studying in Electrical Engineering and Electrical-Electronics Engineering departments at universities. We see supporting students who stand out through academic achievement and technical competence not simply as social responsibility, but as a debt we owe to our industry.
Lightning protection and earthing is a field that hasn't yet found the place it deserves in engineering education. As the number of engineers trained in this field grows, the margin for error on site shrinks and facilities become safer. That is exactly the long-term aim of our scholarship program.
Program Scope
Financial Support
Students found successful in the assessment receive regular scholarship support throughout the academic term.
Fieldwork and Internship Opportunities
Scholarship students are offered the chance to intern and observe fieldwork at Yılkomer, should they request it.
Access to Technical Training
Scholarship students receive free access to the online training sessions and webinars we run on lightning protection, earthing, and LV SPD systems.
Application Periods
Yılkomer scholarship applications are accepted twice a year.
Applications are only assessed within these dates. Applications submitted outside these periods are carried over to the next intake.

The scope is reviewed each academic year and may be expanded.
