Istanbul Police Department MOBESE Systems Lightning Protection Project
The lightning and surge protection system design and product supply for the MOBESE systems installed throughout Istanbul were carried out by Yılkomer.
To ensure uninterrupted operation of MOBESE systems against both lightning strikes and grid surges, and to prevent camera systems from being damaged by direct lightning effects, Yılkomer’s recommended solution using VG-technology products has been implemented at many new MOBESE points.
The system, designed with coordinated B-C-D stage protection, represents an important step toward uninterrupted public security monitoring.
