Lightning Protection System Design for the Yedaş OSOS Project
The system design for protecting the components of the Automatic Meter Reading System (OSOS) of Yeşilırmak Electricity Distribution Inc. against lightning and grid surges was provided by the Lightning Protection Center.
In a total of 12,500 locations where the automatic meter reading system will be used for street lighting control, VG technology surge protection devices with 40 kA capacity and alarm contact outputs were installed in the system panels.
