The rooftop solar power plant project built by Enerjisa at Sabancı University was designed and implemented by the Lightning Protection Center within the scope of lightning protection and grounding systems.
In this system, which can be considered an exemplary rooftop installation, lightning air terminals designed according to the rolling sphere method were integrated with the roof mesh system, and the protection angles were calculated. With grounding resistance values below 1 ohm, the system was successfully secured.
