The Kayseri Şeker and Kayseri Altunges Solar Power Plants Lightning Protection Projects and their implementation, undertaken by Inform as EPC, were carried out by the Lightning Protection Center. With the selected anti-corrosive components, the required protection angles were achieved, and passive air terminals prevented lightning strikes from directly damaging system equipment.
Additionally, to protect against electrical surges, VG Technology B+C Class surge protection devices with 100 kA discharge capacity were used in all panels AG Parafudr.
Measurements showed that the power plants, rapidly constructed by Inform’s skilled engineers, have a flawless infrastructure — as observed in previous collaborations — with grounding resistance values and equipotential bonding systems implemented accurately and completely.
