The 7 MW solar power plant commissioned by Entar Enerji in Kayseri was designed and implemented by Yılkomer within the scope of Lightning and Surge Protection.
The external lightning protection and grounding system, engineered by our expert team, was carried out in accordance with IEC 62305 standards. All material selections were made considering 20-year durability against corrosive environmental factors. The facility was secured using lightning air terminals designed according to the rolling sphere method.
In addition, all solar combiner boxes were protected using VG-technology B+C class LV surge protection devices. With the use of products from our French and German partners, equipotential bonding was achieved, and the design targeted a maximum resistance difference of 0.2 ohm across different points of the 7 MW facility.
