Signal converters ensure the correct reading of signals in our facility. On the other hand, these systems are very sensitive to sudden overvoltages and can burn out even at low-level impulses. Signal converters are the final point in our facility; impulses coming from main panels and sub-panels can burn the signal converter even if there is a surge arrester protecting it. To prevent this, the panels on the line feeding the signal converter must be protected.
