KNX smart home and building automation systems\u2019 communication and power lines are frequently damaged by possible lightning and sudden overvoltage surges. Sensitive systems may become inoperative as a result of even small peaks. For example, no one wants the heating system to fail in the middle of winter or the lighting system to go out one evening. Therefore, we recommend using Raydat KNX sensitive protection modules specifically for KNX systems in your projects against sudden overvoltages. The Raydat KNX System provides protection against both lightning and sudden peaks. The Raydat KNX Series includes D1 C2 and C1 protection classes. It has been tested according to the IEC \/ EN 61643-11 Standard. Even if lightning events do not occur frequently, sudden peaks especially experienced in residential complexes create major problems for smart homes.<\/p>\n

The product is mounted directly onto the data bus within the KNX System.<\/p>\n
