On the other hand, rust formed as a result of corrosion reduces both the lifespan and function of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/en\/external-lightning-protection-systems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">external lightning protection<\/a><\/strong> systems.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Grounding and Anti-Corrosion Tape<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Another important issue in lightning and overvoltage protection applications is grounding. Unfortunately, in grounding applications, we observe that anti-corrosive materials are not used. However, rust reduces grounding calculations and grounding quality.
