They are also of serious importance in bringing <em><a href=\"https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/dis-yildirimlik-tesisatiniz-ts-en-62305-ile-uyumlu-mu\/\"><strong>external lightning protection<\/strong><\/a><\/em> systems to equipotential. <em><strong>Spark Gap arresters<\/strong><\/em> are obtained with an internal voltage switching component that operates to ensure equipotential bonding when a predetermined spark-voltage is reached, thus ensuring that damage to equipment is prevented or unsafe conditions for personnel are eliminated.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/spark-gap-iskra.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5898\" src=\"https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/spark-gap-iskra.png\" alt=\"spark-gap-iskra\" width=\"1944\" height=\"590\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/spark-gap-iskra.png 1944w, https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/spark-gap-iskra-300x91.png 300w, https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/spark-gap-iskra-1024x311.png 1024w, https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/spark-gap-iskra-768x233.png 768w, https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/spark-gap-iskra-1536x466.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1944px) 100vw, 1944px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>EPZ has been developed for use in applications such as <a href=\"https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/ru\/\"><em><strong>lightning protection<\/strong><\/em><\/a> grounding, as well as establishing conditions where, for example, a &#8220;clean&#8221; signal ground cannot be directly connected to a &#8220;dirty&#8221; power system ground. At the same time, their use is important in the petrochemical industry, as direct or nearby lightning discharges or ground faults of nearby power transmission lines can cause large potential gradients between these flanges.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/boru-hatt%C4%B1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5450\" src=\"https:\/\/yilkomer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/boru-hatt%C4%B1.jpg\" alt=\"pipeline\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It has found a wide area of application in the protection of oil and gas pipeline insulating flanges. EPZ is available in a hermetically sealed version for direct EXPROOF applications. Ex-Proof-ATEX approval certificate is also available for use in hazardous locations. Surge protection devices for Ex certified Data \/ signal lines are also available. These devices have been developed to meet the requirements of EN 50164-3 Lightning Protection Components (LPC) &#8211; Requirements for Isolating Spark Gaps and IEC 62561-3 Ex requirements. The EPZ 100 series of <em><strong>Iskra Zascite _Raycap LV Surge Arrester<\/strong> <\/em>systems is an important product series used in this regard.
