In rooftop applications such as solar power plants, factories, etc., the conduction of lightning strikes to our systems through conductive surfaces and cable systems must comply with the IEC 62305-3 Standard<\/strong> by maintaining the S rooftop conductor distance. This is especially important in Faraday Cage<\/strong><\/span> systems. For the S protection<\/strong><\/em> distance, special insulated line holders are available. In addition, this protects rooftop flammable materials from the burning effect of a lightning strike<\/strong><\/em>. The same approach should be applied to wall down-conductor systems.<\/p>\n
