With the increased inclusion of LV Surge Protectors in project specifications in our country, panel manufacturers have significantly increased their usage in production. However, undefined terms in specifications can cause confusion during product selection and lead to approval issues later. Apart from the approval process, if the correct product is not chosen for the correct point in terms of technical impact on the panel, serious problems may occur, and projects thought to be completed may need to be restarted. Therefore, to prevent both system protection and commercial issues, the LV surge protectors selected by panel manufacturers must be technically accurate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em><strong>Lightning Protection Center<\/strong><\/em> delivers the products of our French and German partners to many panel manufacturers in our country, and generally, the problems we encounter are due to unclear specification details, as mentioned above. For TT, TNC, TNC-S grounding and neutral bar conditions, we need to determine the connection details of the product. The location and panel type where it will be used are also important. In sub-distribution panels, motor machine panels, and special purpose panels, we must use products that coordinate with those used in main panels and provide staged protection according to <em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>IEC 62305<\/strong><\/span><\/em> standard. In sub-distribution panels, Class 2 or Class 2+3 products can be selected, but the distance intervals and panel grounding type are still important.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">B+C class products should be connected in parallel with a 16 mm\u00b2 cable in panels, while C class products should use a 6 mm\u00b2 cable. The use of a fuse in front of the surge protector is mainly preferred for varistor-type products. It is not mandatory for VG technology products. The fuse value selection is determined based on tests according to product characteristics.
