As the Lightning Protection Center, Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131mdan Korunma Merkezi has successfully completed the practical implementation of the lightning and surge protection project for Rofa Solar\u2019s 2 MW Solar Power Plant in Burdur.<\/p>\n

In accordance with occupational safety requirements, the Y\u0131lkomer<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span> teams ensured protection of both the facility and installation personnel during the construction phase against the direct effects of lightning strikes.<\/p>\n

The system design\u2014created entirely with anti-corrosive materials\u2014along with project drafting, product supply, and implementation was carried out by the Lightning Protection Center in compliance with IEC 62305 standards. The lightning air terminals were connected to the equipotential system via spark-gap surge protectors, reducing the global grounding resistance to below 1 ohm. A corrosion-protection band was also applied to ensure long-term resistance stability.<\/p>\n
